Sean Egan, P.A.-C has been a resident of Humboldt County for 15 years. Originally from New York City, Sean moved to Arcata to attend Humboldt State University after discharge from the U.S. Navy.

While attending HSU he fell in love the area becoming active in mountain biking and surfing and enjoying the local art and music scene. He returned to graduate school to attend the Stanford University Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 2001.

He has been a provider for the Open Door for five years and has seen patients at nearly all the sites: the “A” Street Clinic(Del Norte Community Health Center) in Crescent City, the Humboldt Open Door Clinic in Arcata, and currently the Eureka Community Health Center .

He also sees patients at the Open Door Outreach Clinic in Orick on Wednesdays. He recently was married and lives with his wife in Arcata.
