Robynne Lute Psy-D

Dr. Lute decided to become a psychologist at the age of twelve. After her undergraduate years studying psychology and philosophy in Indiana (her home state), she went to graduate school to earn her M.S. and Psy.D. in clinical psychology at Baylor University in Texas, graduating in 2003. Her experience has been very broad but with a focus on individuals with significant mental health issues as well as drug and alcohol/addiction issues.

Dr Lute is becoming more and more interested in working with children, especially since coming to Arcata. She is involved with the diabetic collaborative, pain management groups, (in the past) the buprenorphine program. She has been with Open Door for almost 3 years and hopes to remain in Humboldt County because she loves the area.
