Judy Burns, MD

Dr. Burns graduated from University of California at San Francisco’s medical school in June 1985 and then attended the Family Practice Residency program at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas CA, graduating in July 1988.

Her goal in practicing medicine had always been and remains to work with a primarily low-income population. This desire, as well as the desire to raise her family in a rural area, led her to join NorthCountry Clinic in September1988. She is about to finish her 19th year and overall has enjoyed the opportunity to work with many dedicated staff members and my patients.

Dr. Burns and her husband have been raising their five children and caring for his aging parents, so her part-time schedule has allowed her time to be home as well.

Dr. Burns enjoys caring for all age groups and teaches the Billings Method of Natural Family Planning after hours in the clinic. She enjoys her family, friends, gardening, spiritual reading, and participating in her catholic faith community.
