Carolyn Eldridge, LM

I have been working in the hospital setting as a licensed midwife since 1997. During this time, I have specialized in “midwifery care” by assisting many families during their pregnancies and deliveries, and with after care of both mom and the baby. I have also had the privilege of working with women by providing their regular gynecologic care. Before working in hospital setting, I practiced many years (since 1984) as a community midwife providing prenatal and birthing services in the rural areas in and around the small town of Garberville.

This service also includes a full range of educational classes including childbirth education and basic life support classes held in our small community clinic, hospital, and in client’s homes. Throughout this time due to the exceptional people I have been fortunate enough to work with and for, I have gained extensive knowledge which has allowed me to become a well versed midwife.
