Janne Gibbs, APRN-BC, AHNC, MSN, FNP

Janne, a board-certified Advanced Holistic Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Healing Touch Practitioner, graduated from St Luke’s School of Nursing in San Francisco in 1970, and then obtained her BSN, MSN, and FNP. She also pursued extensive studies in Holistic Nursing, Healing Touch, Interactive Guided Imagery, Attitudinal Healing, Therapeutic Touch, and Reiki. She served as an officer in the Army Nurse Corp, and has extensive experience in ICU-CCU, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Medical-surgical, Hospice, and Maternal-child nursing. Janne is also a tenured nursing professor at CR; and has served as a group facilitator for Attitudinal Healing, Bariatric Surgical Support, and holistic sharing circles.

Janne joined the NCC health care team in 1997, and shares her holistic philosophy of care and modalities with clients during focused appointments to help them explore the origins and symbols of their disease, pain, and/or symptoms. She then assists them in finding their own best answers, re-framing their symbols to create a sense of empowerment, and assists them in developing a greater sense of wellness in body-mind-spirit. She specializes in assisting clients with chronic pain/illness, symptom/stress management, surgery/hospitalization preparation/recovery, grief/bereavement support, and individual/family-centered care.
