Erin Mooney

Erin Mooney is our Latino Health Promotion Project Director. Erin grew up in the Salinas Valley and Santa Cruz area, and moved to Humboldt in 1994 to attend HSU. She has a BA in Native American Studies and is ALMOST done with her MS in International Development Technology. Her thesis project is titled “A Community Garden in Resistance to Poverty, Landloss, and Malnutrition in Rural Guatemala.” Outside of her amazingly fulfilling job, Erin’s interests and commitments include: sustainable agriculture, community development, reading, soccer, rugby, and her wonderful family.
