Program for qualifying, low-income or fixed-income PG&E customers for a 20% savings on their bill for two years. Customer must have his/her name on the bill or LL must complete submetered application.

Firewood for low to moderate income seniors 65+. Call for income eligibility information. You pay for delivery or pick up the wood yourself.

Lifeline Telephone Service

Universal Lifeline service/program for low income households. Have to call to set it up, they will ask a few questions to determine if you qualify. This program provides a discount on your installation rate and gives you ½ off rates for phone services.

A licensed MD must certify that the patient is:
* dependent on life-support equipment  OR
* a para/hemi/quadrapregic or MS pt w/special heating needs OR
* being treated for another illness w/special heating needs

Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP): 444-3834. Provides financial assistance for PG&E, Propane, and Firewood. Calls are taken every Monday starting at 9:00am to make appointments for that week. Once slots are full, no more calls are taken for that week. Calls and appointments are taken again the following Monday though out the year until their money runs out. Low-moderate income eligible.

Assistance up to $300 with past-due PG&E bills for income eligible people. 1-2 person HH ($2282/mo after taxes income limit). Must have a 15 day notice (Reach pays past due amount OR 48 hour notice (Reach pays full amount) Does NOT cover deposits; subject to availability of funds.
